Stephen Hendrix serves as Vice President of Residential Development and focuses on delivering nationwide, ground-up development opportunities as part of the Firm’s growing investment strategy.

Relevant Experience – Stephen brings more than 27 years of multifamily development/construction experience to CARROLL that includes an extensive portfolio of large-scale, high-profile, and high-density apartment communities throughout the Southeast. Prior to CARROLL, he served as the Senior Vice President of Development at Novare Group, an Atlanta-based developer of mixed-use communities in the Sun Belt region. Prior to Novare, Hendrix held development and construction roles with Wood Partners and TriBridge Residential.

Education/Affiliations – Stephen received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oglethorpe University and his Master of Science in Commercial Real Estate from Georgia State University. He holds a Real Estate Development Certificate from the Urban Land Institute and is an active member of the National Multifamily Housing Council.

Interests – Stephen enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including sailing, riding his motorcycles, and camping. On the weekends, he loves spending time with his two grandchildren and is an active member of his church and serves on parish council.
